The Crisis in Christian Peacemaking in the Holy Land - Webinar
The National Christian Leadership Conference for Israel Presents: The Crisis in Christian Peacemaking in the Holy Land – Sunday, February 21, 2021 8 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. CT.
It is time for Christians of good will to counter the anti-peace and anti-normalization messaging offered by Christian peacemaking organizations that operate in the Holy Land, declares NCLCI board member Dexter Van Zile.
“These peacemakers are advocating for a political movement that seeks self-determination for itself even as it has rejected the right of Jews to exercise their right to self-determination,” Van Zile said. “Such advocacy gives Palestinians every reason to think they have license for further acts of violence against Israeli civilians.”
Christians of good will must call on the churches and the peacemaking institutions they support to abandon their obsession with Israel and speak honestly about the misdeeds of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas and other regimes in the Middle East and the rest of the world.
After Van Zile’s brief presentation, there will be a panel discussion among the members of NCLCI’s board. Audience members will be able to ask questions as well.
